For those saying checks won't happen, they've already started. There's been 12,000 syrian refugee applications made to Canada already. The work is being done by a conglomerate of Govts and intelligence services. All the G8 countries accepting refugees are sharing the workload to get these ppl placed.

I think as lowly of Trudeau as anyone. And maybe he is truly dumb enough to believe there is no danger from this influx of Muslims. However, his handlers are not that dumb, and they know for certain that if even ONE of these refugees succeeds in taking lethal, terrorist action on Canadian soil... It's the end of not just pretty pony, but of the entire Liberal Party.

No one is saying checks won't happen but it's the degree or how in depth they go. Anyone can forge documents and remove a questionable past. I'll pass on the Liberal Kool Aid ! Holy Crap !

There will be no one to blame. Look back at the last year, the Airman who was run over in a parking lot! What did the interrogation yield?? NOTHING, he was dead. The shooter in Ottawa, NOTHING, he to was dead. Don't get wrong, dead is good. All for killing this shiet. But. At the end of the day, until CSIS, CSEC, RCMP, get some teeth, we are fighting a loosing battle.

Flash back to Kubal 2003. Driving down the road, come under fire! Look left, what do you see 15 Mullah's all wearing the same outfit, which one do you shoot.????? It comes down to what will stand up to the CBC news hour. So we shoot none. So who wins, the Mullah.....

It all comes down to this, not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslim!!!!!!!

Get yourself a ham sandwich, crack a beer, load a gun and watch the shietshow about to unfold....

The refugees will expect us to build them Mosques, give them a prayer room at each school, time off at their job for prayers, they will complain because we say MERRY CHRISTMAS and they WILL GET THEIR WAY!!!

Many refugees will have post tramatic stress syndrome. They will be an instant burden on our health care. Our military is going to be tied up dealing with refugees and will not be available to protect Canada.

Also, way back when, the new immigrants ( polish, Yugoslavs etc) came to Canada and fit right in. They loved Canada. They did not have a hatred for the west.

It was said that the cost of bringing the refugees to Canada will cost over $250,000,000.00. Think if we put that money towards our ailing health care or Canadas infrastructure.

Just something to think about, ISIS butchers innocent people, what do you think they do with all their IDs, passports, other government ID from their victims? With the number of innocents killed in Syria, what happened to their IDs? Given enough of a supply of IDs from honest hard working civilians of Syria with no criminal records, how hard would it be for ISIS to sort through to find one that is a suitable match for one of their members?
A full set of government documents from the Syrian government, and no real way to cross reference each one to determine who is who, don't you think that many of these "refugees" might just be travelling with someone else's documents?

Besides letting the foxes in the chicken in the first place like the Liberals and the rest of the bleeding hearts will do,bordering on insanity? This what C-51 was intended to do,find these nutbars that are already among us that are or have already laid out attack plans. It's like playing "whack-a-mole",but,n-o-o-o-o,we can't have any of that "invasion of privacy" stuff. Heaven forbid some weirdo liberal-supporter progressives get their own fingers caught in the wringer. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

JT's actions on this matter are a lot worse than most of you guys think. Yes, rushing refugees through the system is a terrible idea. They need to be properly vetted and monitored so everyone (including the refugees coming in) can live in a safe country. The Liberal mentality on refugees has always been compassion, compassion, compassion and not being tough because you might offend someone and hurt their feelings. The problem with that mentality is it doesn't take much for "the bad guys" to prey on that compassion. It is a great and lofty goal to try to hit the target by Christmas (6 weeks away). However, the reality is 6 weeks isn't a tonne of time to properly screen the amount of people we have committed to come into Canada. Barack Obama (the worldwide liberal (not just Canadian Liberal) poster boy for the past 7 years) made a statement to the world that ISIS (or ISIL) was contained just hours before the attacks on Paris. How long do you think it will take before liberals worldwide make JT their poster boy (it has already started to happen)? It is fine to have these lofty goals and ideals that everyone in the world gets along and we can all skip through the garden of multiculturalism (and maybe one day we will attain that). However, in this day and age thinking this way risks everyone's safety.

Furthermore, JT's actions will have long reaching repercussions. He has publically stated that said Canada has offered “all of our help and our support to the government of France and the people of France at this time.” Well he didn't really mean all of our help and support because he is committed to pulling out our CF-18's from this theatre. Canada has a well documented history of helping France when they come under attack. By not standing with France militarily when they were attacked by ISIS (even Jean Chrétien stood by the US when they were attacked), what are we really telling our NATO allies. What will France say if the shoe is on the other foot (you know China is eyeing our arctic resources)? The Canadian mission (Air support with special forces training the Iraq army) is exactly the right response here. We have to teach these people how to defend themselves and their country. They can't be running away every time a group starts to cause problems.

Also, most western intelligence agencies talk to each other about credible threats. How much intelligence sharing do you think they will do with us when we don't help with a threat which targets all of us? If we aren't going to do the heavy lifting, our allies aren't obliged to help us protect ourselves.
