Im curious also? Ive been asking freind and older hunters i know and they have never herd of anyone being fined for this. And (not that i approuve there behavior) some of these older guys have never returned a questionnaire.

So what if you weren't finished moose hunting yet? It's open for a couple of weeks yet in parts of the province. Was it a WMU specific survey?

Set Fine: $150.00

Total Payable: $180.00

The holder of a permit or validation tag to hunt moose in wildlife management unit 65 who is provided a questionnaire relating to the hunting activities carried out under that permit or validation tag shall complete the questionnaire and return it

The regs also say a person who fails to report is also ineligible to get a permit the following year !!!!! That's worse than the fine !

Two were ticketed for "failing to report-wild turkey" and two for "fail to wear blaze orange". Pretty much a couple of no-brainers.

I am going to frame the ticket and hang it up! So fare i think im the very first guy in this wmu to be fined for this!

This what i rely would like to due and have being advised to due by many of you guys! But like most of you,work feeds my family and any spare time at this time of year is spent trapping,hunting and fishing!So im going to just pay the fine and move on ! Even if i thingk wath happened is morally wrong and that its a shame that our ressources are runned by poeple with this kind of attitude(slap fine,peepee off hunters...) I am happy that so many of you guys ( my fellow outdoorsman) feel the same way!Know as soon as my big monster 8 pionter can expopse him self when im actualy in the stand, i will forget about this hole thing! lol
And hopfully not ever forget a to return a questionnaire!lol

I dont find it a shame that our COs are enforcing the law. We need more of this, not less of it.

Im sorry, but your situation is akin to someone whining about a speeding ticket. Plain and simple. Do your report on time and stop complaining.

Its not like you didnt know about it; you received it with your tag.
