Whitetail 2nd deer hunt.

Just curious if many do the second hunt? I switched this year and applied for 2nd season control hunt since I new work schedule wouldn't allow me to take time for early November.

You bet .I have hunted the late hunt for years I hunt with a group of farmers and thy are all harvesting threw November so December it is.most of the corn is off the feild by now and the weather is cooler normally. We have some were between 8 and 14 guys and gals in are group.with lots of young kids hunting this year. We hunt 90 b. Dutch

I was out with the crossbow today & looks like the rut is on again. Went out in the afternoon & had two fawns come in but no mama does with them. A doe came in about 20 min after but I saw a bruiser in behind her. He grunted & she turned back to him. Never came in close for a shot. Hope the cooler weather hold up. 81b
