Tim Hortons steak breakfast.
Tim Hortons cheddar biscuit steak and egg breakfast.
I saw the ad on television, and it looked really good. I then went to their web site and looked at the sandwich. Yummy. I counted 7 pieces of sliced steak on top of a nice fried egg.
The next morning I had to have one, so I bought one and took it home. Anticipation was killing me as I unwrapped it, and lifted the bun to look at the yummy steak ykes what's that! I looked and saw what looked like a teaspoon of beef stew on top of some kind of really thin egg stuff. What a disappointment. I checked the picture on the website again, and it looked nothing like what I had on my plate.
This is a true case of false advertising. On Sat. I sent an email to head office explaining my situation, and as of today, Tues evening, have not received a reply.
The bottom line, don't buy one, it is nothing like what they advertise.
There, now I feel better.

When they brought it out the first time I got one, and i pull up to the window only to hear the one girl exclaim loudly, "this steak smells like sh@@." I was like thanks for saying that about what i'm about to eat.
There food and service has really gone down hill in the last few years. It's pretty sad.

Two visits to Tim Hortons last weekend included "fancy" drinks for the GF. Both times resulted in "this tastes disgusting, milky water, etc".
Trying to expand their market... alienating the clients who want the simpler stuff. What ever happened to the hot chocolate with the 1/8" layer of sugar crystals on the bottom? I loved that as a kid!

How do they stay in business.
The "food" in all awful.
The donuts are average quality and the coffee is harsh.

Negative. Their doughnuts are just awful. Not baked on site, but par-baked off site.
Smaller, and cheaper.
Country Styles donuts, or Coffee Times. Less selection, but you'll get a better quality baked good. Remember when an apple fritter was as big as a hupcap? The other places still do those.
"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.
