Any experience with tracheoscopy / bronchoscopy?
Has anyone had a tracheoscopy or bronchoscopy done on a dog?
I suspect that she got something down there and she cannot cough it up since yesterday.
I had some not so good experience with more than one vet around my area; i.e. good money for completely ineffective treatment.
So, I’m wondering if I should go to the emergency clinic right away (and pay the premium), go through the vet and get a referral (worth the time/money?) or wait another day or two.
To put things into perspective: It’s not a life threatening condition; just some pretty bad coughing after taking too deep of a breath.
If anyone knows a vet in the Northern GTA who is equipped and you had some good experience with, please let me know.

Have driven from Toronto to go there.
Dr. Bartlet is worth the drive.

Thanks for the help. The drive there is just as bad as going downtown to VEC South. However, the fact both of you went there does say something.
I was planning on going tonight, but now the dog is doing much better - after lots of coughing earlier today and me posting the question on here. So, I guess I'll wait till tomorrow to see if the problem persists. In any case, I'll keep them on my list.

Has too much time on their hands
Dr Richard Maser (practice owner) is a family friend of ours. All of our family takes their pets to see him. He doesn't take too many new clients anymore but he has a tremendous team of doctors and staff and if I was still living in Pontypool, I would be taking Hank to see then. I can't say enough good things about Cavan Hills Vet Services.
