What facts?? I don't believe the Ontario government will bring out a registry. However that doesn't mean they won't give Quebec some money to piggy back on their registry. I also imagine that Justin will give Quebec money to create their registry. As well The Feds under Justin will give Quebec every bit of assistance need to create the registry.

Also considering Justin cannot be trusted him saying he will not create a gun registry really doesn't mean much. He is alradly lied about keeping the deficit to 10 billion and now admits he won't keep to that.

Libs are good at lying look at Ontario have they ever really told the truth??

Yes because the Wynne government has been so honest and transparent so far. When she figures out how to profit from it it will be a done deal. Do you really think campaign statements mean anything to her?

... and so it is warming up and soon to bat?

Bring back gun registry: OPP deputy commissioner
A deputy commissioner of the OPP is applauding Quebec’s plan for a provincial firearms registry and says Ontario – or the federal government – should consider following suit.

As I said I don't trust Justin and if we use Ontario Liberals as an example. Have the Ontario Liberals used Tax payers money wisely? Have they ever lied? I will answer both no and actually the Ontario Liberals have never once told the truth about anything .

Here is what she said right after that quote:
“However, our government encourages the federal government to put in place stronger measures to get handguns off our streets and to work towards a system that will alert officers of potential weapons in a residence when they are responding to calls,” Callighen said.

Ontario urged the former Harper government to retain Canada’s long-gun registry, she noted.

remember this is the government that signed a pledge to not raise taxes during a campaign.
