I would agree and do the same thing, let it walk. I was just curious if anyone else thought it was a cow and not a calf. Thanks

but nice they did a good job and didn't just end up another blast and cover with a tarp story.
FYI- the Ottawa region- thanks your generous tax dollars has its own squad- check the article online - unlike anywhere else in the country- they have staff- because money is never in short supply - after all it's the tax collection capital.

I agree. Looks like a yearling cow. I wouldn't shoot that for a calf. Then again the only calves I have shot were standing beside their mothers.

MNRF's job is not tranquilizing and relocating moose. They are here to manage the herd in Ontario, not an individual . In the end this is a public safety issue and the responsibility of the police.

I hate the term "yearling calf". There is no such thing. Its a calf, or is a cow (....or a bull)
