Massive gun-bust case tossed

Being a scumbag notwithstanding, this is a perfect case study in how police work shouldn't be done. No doubt this is already being discussed by the various departments around the country, and I hope it's used as a case study in police colleges like Aylmer.

Kudos to the Judge who despite the fact that the whole thing stank, did the right thing in following the rule of law.

Outward opening doors ? I guess they weren't taught that and it never occurred to them , besides a battering ram is more impressive .

On those type doors you have to reverse the ram and use the other end...

1.) look at the hinges
2.) try turning the door knob

They could use a "Halligan Tool" like the fire dept. does, it's sort of like a pry bar , sliding hammer tool.
Jam the prying fingers in between the lock and frame, slide the hammering extension once or twice to drive it in and pry outwards , pop! the door opens, have used it many times over the years at work.
But , cops like to do it the hard way , so they can show them that "they are in control"

Serving warrants on people in trailers is likely the most dangerous thing Police can do because the walls offer no protection. Bullets go through them like they aren't there and you're standing up front and center. Sends chills up my spine. Been there,done that way back in the day.

I'd sooner do a traffic stop on a van on a country raod at night than a damn trailer call. BTW,I really like your new location. That shoe sure fits LOL
