GPS coordinates ???
Anyone know of a site that I can search for a location, and then get the GPS coordinates in order to plug them into my handheld and use the day of fishing?

Used to be able to do it through Google maps I think. Click on a spot and the coords would come up in the search bar above. You might try the "classic view" on Google maps instead of the new one

Thanks for the tip - it definitely does give GPS coordinates, but on gmaps there is no bathymetric depths and contours .... back to the drawing board.

Go to MNR maps and then to Make topo maps. Not sure how to explain it well but, it will show you a map of north America and the just keep zooming in to your location. Then by playing around in the legend you will get son that you get longitude and latitude were your cursor is. You can turn it to satellite or keep it into a topo with contour lines..
