Default 100 lbs cat sighted close to Gravenhurst this morning

I know it has been discussed before but this is the first time it happens to someone I know pretty well.No picture though.......
A buddy at work sighted a big cat this morning on his way to work (hwy. 11, just south of Gravenhurst). I questioned him a lot about it and he is 100% sure of what he saw. The cat was about to cross the hwy. but turned around and ran back but then stopped and looked back. The said it had a long tail, brownish color and was in the 100lbs.....

So, I checked online and found this out.

Might be a escaped one or might be not but somehow I don't really like to know they are around.....

Well, they are around that's for sure. Ideally you supposed to hunt in pairs or with a dog. Unlike me who doesn't have a consistent partner(dad) due to his work. I venture out solo with a 6 inch knife as backup. Best of luck out there. ^__^

What are you worried about ? --- 99% of the time I hunt alone . Only once have I been challenged (in 1965 by by a bear) . My 22 mag. handgun took care of that . --- According to you , your 6" knife serves as a back-up ; so you carry a gun as well since you are hunting . --- What's the problem ?

I saw 3 cougars Friday night and all three almost had me cornered ! They latched onto to my buddy who is recently divorced and left me alone. Boy that was close ! Thank god I didn't have a camera !
