Stretch goals

So it seems the 15% decrease to insurance rates which the Liberals promised the NDP was more of a stretch goal....

for those of you folks who don't know a stretch goal is a goal that is higher than the actual goal and would need to have an individual/organization extend itself and get the right things to happen to achieve. For example, the Leafs goal is to make it to the post season this year and their stretch goal would be home ice advantage. However, it seems the Ontario government has determined a stretch goal will mean anything we promise but fail to fully deliver on.

I think we need to play a game on naming all the "stretch goals" that the government promised. I will go first.

We will allow 25 000 Syrian refugees into Canada by Christmas.

Stretch. Hope for some competence, integrity, etc.
Goal. Get rid of the ineptitude, corruption and vote buying admin.

Stretch: Deficit of 10 billion
Goal: 15-20billion

Stretch: Entertain O'Leary
Goal: Find someone the public will accept
