For hunting crown land I would take a walk around and see who's hunting there before starting to hunt it yourself. Some people may hunt the same spot a for years and other hunters generally respect each others "areas". It would also be a good way to meet a local mentor.

I agree with Waftrudnir. Take both courses and then you'll be able to expand you hunting in the future. These can be taken together over a weekend.

I will be taking both courses. And my buddies father owns good hunting land in Fort Erie.

Silverdale gun club offers the courses that you want..It is over a weekend..it is not far from St. Kitts

Silverdale isn't far from me at all. I just checked and it's all booked up. I might call to see if they have a long list of stand-bys

Hey K9,
Were you able to take the courses yet? If so have you applied for the hunting license yet? I'm currently applying and have a few questions. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I unfortunately have not taken the courses as of yet. I missed out this season due to filled up courses. I am still looking into doing it in the near future. Please let me know how you made out. I might have some questions for you in the future.
