The story say's it was intentional on their part? Surely there could be some sort of charge laid against them? Public Mischief at least?

They might not have been charged because they were not asking to be rescued?! Is that make sense....

they were more interested in getting there pictures taken and selfies on the net than their own safety. I hope their parents step up and give them a good talking to....

Yet I get yelled at by the OPP well fishing off South Bay Mouth on my one man pontoon boat, well wearing a pdf, carrying a signaling device, a Vhf radio, and a using a plotter/fish finder. I even had registration numbers on my pontoons for DSC.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.
