Thats unfortunate that people have know respect for other peoples belongings. I hope he finds his stuff and theses people are charged.

Sounds like someone familiar with his house - first people to look at are any contractors that you had around doing work on the place or people who did maintenance at the place - often times you have characters working for some outfits who just look around for places to break into after they worked there - and what good is a safe if someone can just carry it away -
They probably knew the lay out of the place and brought the needed help to carry the safe out - load it and drive away - old Jim got a Shock when he got home
