    Default Einstein called it.

    For all you science geeks:

The last major tenet of Einstein's theory has finally been confirmed. Open's up a lot of potential doors in much the same way the discovery of the electromagnetic spectrum did (radio waves, x-rays, etc.).
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Altering space and time - this could lead to time travel forward, but I think not backward. I wish I was young enough to see where this confirmation/discovery can take us.

Young enough? Me,too,Roper. I wonder if at some time in the future,we'll say the same of Gene Roddenberry as a visionary as has just been proven of Albert Einstein?
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Sounds super interesting...but, I gotta be honest, I think I would have had a clearer understanding if that was written in Egyptian chicken scratch. Can Anyone explain what this means? Excuse my lack of knowledge, but I failed science too many times in HS.
    This isn't a test run................Enjoy er'.......

A simple analogy would be to think of a blind and deaf person. Discovery and manipulation of the EM spectrum gave us things like radio, tv, cell phones, wireless, medical imaging, telescopes and the list goes on. So the EM spectrum is akin to getting one of the lost senses back.

Gravity waves are like getting the other sense back. No telling what technology will come from this in the future.

It is entirely new way to perceive and possibly manipulate the universe around us.

Bill Nye is still on, check out You Tube. There is another guy by the name of Neil Degrasse Tyson, he is a rock star in the world of astrophysics.
