not sure the exact law on the sticker, but i believe any trailer that can handle more then 7000 lbs needs to be stickered, hence 3500 lb axles, which depending on the maker, are ussually actually rated for around 4200 lbs, but are registered as 3500 lbs to keep it under the threshold...

It has now been a year with the truck and must say that I am still very pleased with its capabilities. The only problem I had was shift points especially with towing but GM fixed that last summer by re-programming the computers with an update they had available. Other than that zero issues. Tows like a champ now!

I have a 2015 6.6L Duramax and from personal experience on my truck down to -20 no problem. -20 to -30 it still starts but would be better if it was plugged in. Below -30 is trouble without a plug in (have only encountered these conditions twice since I bought the truck).

Still can't ever bring myself to purchase a GM product after tax payers were made to bail them out. If it were a small business going bankrupt because of the mishandling of money the business owner would not be rewarded with loans provided by taxpayers. I really don't care if GM or GMC has a good product today it's the principal of it all .

Then make sure you never buy any Bombardier products or fly Air Canada. There are many other companies who have been greased by government.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
