It's OK Sharon, we can tell when someone has been sipping the Kool Aid

My ref to Kool Aid comes from a mass suicide from followers of Jim Jones in Johnstown back in 1978 were the 'followers' blindly drank the Kool-Aid.

ie; the phrase "drink the Koolaid" has come to mean, "Don’t trust any group you find to be a little on the kooky side." or "Whatever they tell you, don't believe it too strongly".

(not so funny when it has to be explained )

Ugo has the right attitude. When things are so F'd up like here in Libranoland unless we start laughing among us and at ourselves the days are just too long.

Yes. I have one in 2nd year and another starting in 18 months so the cost of tuition is basically climbing now by 30%. I will be out an extra $4k for tuition. Add in pension tax and looming carbon tax, hydro increases and that cackling con artist has likely taken minimum $8k out of my disposable income. I'm not a 1% guy. That amount will definitely hurt my family. Sunny days eh?

Hmmm.....I hope I'm invited to the graduation ceremony(s)!
Thanks for reminding me. Perhaps my blood pressure was too low anyway.

Yup, and like almost all private member's bills it will die before it goes anywhere.

JBenn and I had words with the Bill's author last night on Facebook, the rest of you should join in. There are a lot of Petafiles supporting this.

At least this fellow has earned the right to an opinion having 4 rehabilitated pitbulls himself.

I feel badly for the staff who have to go into the kennels of these not rehabilitated dogs to cleanup , change bedding feed etc.

As Weirner said earlier there are hundreds of dogs on death row in the SPCA shelters who would be fabulous pets and are gentle creatures. Then you have 21 pitbulls who were specifically bred to fight and kill. These breeders are not nice people and any dog that is alive in their breeding program was seen as a killer. They bred and raised these Pitts to fight and kill. The mild ones likely got used as practice/training meat by the killers, they die in horrible deaths. The idiots should rehome the dogs that aren't a menace to people and dogs. The poor dogs who will be getting the blue juice but don't have star power or activists fighting for them deserve to be first in line for adoption.
