Moose ticks quebec
I have heard over the last couple years by guys hunting in the pontiac region of que (Bryson, bristol, chelsea etc) just across from where I live that IF they are successful they almost wish they weren't. Apparently it's a horror show of stagnant blood and bugs trying to deal with one . I struggled to buy into how bad it could be till seeing this

I'm sure it's all made up, and they got the cbc on side, w/pics and all. That's very likely

Rubber gloves and skin and quarter it back in the bush....you don't want to have that hide coming anywhere near stuff you own.

Shot a calf in Ontario WMU 60 about 10 years ago. About a third of the hair was
gone. It didn't taste any worse than any other moose I have shot. In fact it was rather tasty.

Ya that's what I've been hearing. Ground quarter meat out in bush as opposed to trying to take out with hide. Avoid skin and effects contact with said hide. Certainly not impossible, but with as much of a session as getting a moose dressed and out already is it's not one I'd want. I have an uncle and cousin over there that offer, and. I take a pass
