Hunter gas fireplaces

Guys,

I've got an old Hunter gas fireplace in my basement that I've never used since we moved in. Neighbour told me he had one in a previous house and it was fantastic.

I'm going to have it services and inspected by a licensed tech soon but have also been looking for a manual for it.
Surprisingly, I can't find a manual for it anywhere online. Hunter fireplaces were made in Orillia but I read that they went bankrupt in 2002.

Mine is a freestanding floor model, not built into the wall.

Sticker on the back says "Kit 242" and also mentions model # HDS 2000 & 3000.
