Dog with lyme
I have a 15 month old dog that has lymediases , does it make sense to treat her with a Lyme preventative medication. Common sense would say can't catch it twice , and why put the chemical into her body ,

Has too much time on their hands
Go to your vet and get medical advice on how your dog should be treated.

No medication unless the vet says so. As YD said, see the vet , before any seizures start. The majority of dogs respond very well to antibiotic treatment with Doxycycline or Amoxicillin.

Good reminder to remember to start dog tick /flea preventatives now . As soon as green grass shows they're around.
Don't forget Heartgard at the end of May/early June. Normally it is much harder to "fix" heartworms than lyme disease.

Having Lyme disease once does not confer immunity. As posted above, speak to your vet about antibiotic treatment ASAP, and measures to prevent reinfection.

No brainer. Clearly you run your dog where there are Lyme carrying ticks. AdvantixII is great stuff.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
