    Awesome.

I like Britain, where your dog can come in the pub with you.

    Very nice.

Maddy had her first visit to Ikea in Ottawa this past weekend. Got asked about 7 times if she was a service dog but only 1 employee asked to see our ID badges, also her first time on an escilator which was interesting.

This past Christmas I got called out to Wawa Christmas Eve, made the run boxing day and brought Maddy, drive home was a wicked snowstorm and I only made it to Chapleau.

12AM, call the hotel to ensure a room, show up and told no dogs allowed, I explain she is a service dog and give our ID's "no dogs allowed"

Um, are you aware its illegal to refuse a service animal?

"you'll have to take it up with the manager"

Okay, give them a call "their asleep"

I'd like to be asleep but here we are having this conversation.

As I saw this going no where, I then took up the offer to stay at their flea bag in pet friendly sister hotel

Called the owner back the next day and went through the whole speal, she says that's right no dogs allowed, I re-iterated she was a service dog and she appologized and said yes she was allowed by the way what is my dissability that I have a service dog.

    These people were something special.

You must have read my signature....LoL!!
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Every dog owner i know his/her dog provides a service. Typically the people that come into City Hall with a service dog have a disability of some sort. The dog is wearing a red coat to indicate it is a service dog(therapy dog ). It has never been and issue when the dog is wearing the service dog coat that has been provided to the dog owner. I have never experienced a case where the service dog is not wearing a service vest in a public building. If the dog was wearing the service vest this would eliminate someone saying no dogs allowed. Many businesses are not up to date with the service dog laws and it's up to patient individuals to inform them.
