I'll be out for turkeys this week and if I see a coyote I WILL shoot it. One spring I got 5!

I lost another doe this year to those rascals after waiting 2 hrs to go retrieve it.

If a litter of 6 or 8 die then so be it!

One thing we don't need is 6 or 8 more of them come the fall and also the amount of fawns it will take to feed them!
I wish we had this problem in our area.
Experience is what you gain when you didn't get what you wanted.

Many are called but only a few are chosen.

The reason everyone is seeing so many is 2 fold.
    A lack of vegetation and
the parents are on an endless hunt for food. Like a robin with a nest of young - so many mouths.
They will hunt morning and night and take more risks with pets and livestock.

I can only imagine how much other wildlife is dying to keep this invasive species as populated as they currently are!
If you keep doing what you've always done. You'll keep getting what you've always got!

Two dogs were just killed The next concession over from coyotes this past weekend. I guess they let their dogs out in the fenced yard before going to bed. Dogs didn't come back so I guess the homeowner walked to the back of the yard and saw one laying there with neck wounds and not far apart the other laying there with a coyote peeling out of there.

there are too many around right now if we can lower the population I will.

That's nothing, my family's friend neighbor, 2 doors down had a coyote jump over a 5 feet fence to grab a small dog off their backyard, if it wasn't for the lady screaming, that would be one more dead pooch. Their backyard is right next to a small forest area in the city.

Had a friend who lives near mountain side arena in Burlington and a person a few doors down chased a coyote out of their backyard with a rake. LOL is is not far from where that bear was shot years ago in Burlington.
