08 merc issues

Looking at an 08 merc 4 stroke 20 hp. Noticing a few oil issues on google. Anyone know of one around that era and if it has any problems? THANKS

I have one and love it. Only problem I have had was I had to clean the carb last year. I have always changed to oil and filter yearly. It still pers like new. I guess it's time for impeller and kit.

You ever think of running an ounce or two of sea foam into the gas a few times a year?I know merc carbs don't like gum. They don't want anything but high grade either

2010 Merc 4 stroke 20 owner. Had it since new, have never had a problem. Quicksilver oil, filter, and lube every year, still runs like new.
