    Default Trudough flops in Japan

The shiny pony felt qualified to tell the most successful auto manufacturers on the planet how to do business. Didn't realize JT had a degree in mechanical engineering or economics? Anyway he felt qualified to tell them they should invest in Ontario, seriously Ontario...... Yes every manufacturer wants to invest in Wynntario where the costs of energy, taxes and everything else are going through the roof but hey, JT owes Wynne so off to the land of the rising sun the Gov Challenger flew with an entourage. This narcissist idiot thinks he is qualified to fly around the globe and tell people how to run their economies. I'm thinking he should stick to doing selfies with airheads and mugging for the cameras/CBC. I wonder if Sophie had a song to sing for them?

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

    LOL - well done Terry
I read that article about 1/2 hour ago. I just shook my head. And people wonder why I say I am embarrased to be Canadian with this moron representing us.
If I were the Japanese I would be insulted that someone could believe me to be so stupid as to invest in an area with electricity rates over double the North American rate with a Premier that is looking to ban natural gas. You have to wonder if such ignorance is bliss.

He has no clue. I am sure someone does his family budgeting for him and looks after his wealth cause no way he knows where money comes from .

I"m certainly not a JT fan. And I agree, he is not capable of playing finance on a global scale. I suspect the Japanese will pick his (our) pocket.
However at the moment the Canadian $ does make investment in Canada attractive. He may be successfull in spite of himself.
    We can only hope.

Factor in the new Carbon taxes ( Wynne) and skyrocketing costs of Hydro ( Wynne) as well as unions ( Wynne supporters) in the auto sector and that pretty well cancels out the low dollar.

I would think large auto makers have pension plans so that likely wouldn't apply to them but if you were a manufacturer that used as much electricity as an auto plant would you locate in a jurisdiction with the highest energy rates?

There aren't Soryu subs blockading our harbours (I heard ours are in dry dock again unable to sail), I haven't heard of an F-2 fighter dropping surrender leaflets on Vancouver yet and he didn't blow $3 or $4 billion so far. He got to run around with his wife the one day on the taxpayer money and that was probably less than $1M so it SEEMS like a good trip for PM zoolander to me.

P.S. The Soryu or the German 209 or Dolphin class would have served Canada excellently rather than retired firetrap subs that could fire torpedoes and killed a sailor during delivery.
    Our subs.

An interesting article talking about how South Korea and so many other countries have a concern for their sailors and worry about the quality rather than bargain basement retired subs like the Libs. I doubt they would replace the old subs we have with anything like Australia has.

You want a submarine that works, go see the Germans. They'll build you something that works.
