Stoppin' for the night in Des Moines Iowa on our way to Colorado...
Checking the weather report... Conditions look PERFECT for the weekend and into next week...
Here's hoping I brought enough ammo... Lol.

The allowed limit of 500 rounds is not enough..

I would go through 1000 to 1500 rounds of 22LR in Alberta, and I always had 3000 to 5000 rounds on hand before a hunt..
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

    What limit..?

I do have 500 rounds, but that's just for the .17hmr.

Add up all the .223 and .243 ammo and I've got close to 2000 rounds... 'Hope it's not enough..!

ATF told me it was 500 rounds per Calibre. Never was a problem, Ammo was so cheap in the states that I just bought it there and shot it before I used my rounds. When I was carrying the 22 rounds I was only running east west through Canada, so it did not matter.

    2000 .223
    2000 .243
    1000 9mm
    500 .45

In any case... This was my view of Colorado today...

So, how many can you shot it a day and why are they so many? Don't say have predators overthere?
    Thanks

Just look at the pictures, thousands of acres of open land , sparsely populated, big difference from what we have here in southern Ontario where every available acre of land is under cultivation for crops.

No limit no season... They're pretty much vermin.... pests.
I'm sure they get eaten by predators, but that doesn't seem to affect population.
In 4.5 hours of shooting I probably killed 200.
Shots today ranged from 75 to 500 yards.
Hell... yesterday I got two doubles.
