Canada , in particular Ontario, had/has a few actors that are very famous and came from the Six Nations Reserve Below Brantford, ' Jay Silverheels " played Tonto in Lone Ranger movies , and now Graham Greene, CM is a Canadian First Nations actor who has worked on stage, in film, and in TV productions in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, who has just recently received the ' Order of Canada Medal " which is a very high honour.
Also Tom Longboat famous runner " [COLOR=#252525]Thomas Charles Longboat, distance runner (b at Ohsweken [Six Nations IR], Ont 4 July 1887; d there 9 Jan 1949). Largely because of his ability to dominate any race and his spectacular finishing sprints, Longboat was one of the most celebrated pre-WWI athletes. He won the Hamilton "Around-the-Bay" (1906), the Boston Marathon (1907), the Toronto Ward's Marathon (1906-08), the "World's Professional Marathon Championship" (1909), and broke numerous records. He was one of the most sought-after performers in the brief (1908-12) revival of professional racing that followed the controversial 1908 London Olympics marathon, in which Longboat and Dorando Pietri collapsed.

It was a kinda long read - but hey I don't have anything against Canadians - I have a lot of good friends up there - lived there for a short time in the late 50s - actually never met a Canadian that I didn't like - still go there a couple times each year - it's a beautiful country and has a lot of water to fish - the only thing I don't like is that it has become too liberal and the strict gun laws that it has - other than that I like it
As far as my own country - I don't even recognize it anymore - I have little in common with it today - it isn't the country that I knew and grew up in - this coming election will be the last stand and if crooked Hillary gets into office it is all over but the shouting - at 82 I don't worry too much anymore - would feel sorry for my grandkids though - I'll be voting for Trump in November - we gotta make American great again - see you on the water -

While all those accomplishments are true, and proud of them, the fact that we have to point all these things out, shows that we do seem to have a bit of an inferiority complex. Why do we feel we need to please anyone else, to feel good about ourselves. We are who we are.

I have absolutely no inferiority complex what so ever, and as you stated "we are who we are".
As for the article , it was sent to me via email and i thought it was interesting enough to post it, due to the fact there had been some bragging about the U.S. by some posters , so i had to do some bragging about " How Great We Canadians Are ".
Proud To Say "I Am A Canadian"

I wouldn't call it bragging. I would call it educating.

He got his clock cleaned in Cleveland night before last. Lucky the guy just took him to the ground and didn't ruin him.
Wasn't the US space shuttle's arm also built in Canukistan? I didn't see it on the list Jaycee.
