I Served Once But Never Again
When you see how servicemen are treated during and after their tour of duty - if I was a young man I would never serve in the military - the politicians send your butt all over the world and then expect you to act like you were attending Sunday school - if I was a young man and they instituted the draft I would be one of the first crossing the bridge into Canada or pull a Mohammed Ali - why do I say this - look at this - http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/06/13...l?intcmp=hpbt4

JoePa I would think it would depend on the war! Some are justified, some are not.

Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Not to mention that Canadian Units ground the 12th SS into a bleedy mess, in some of the worst fighting of the war. If the 12th SS had got past the Canadians, they would have trapped and destroyed the American and British troops that where still trying to solidify their lines.

I have two nephews (Afghanistan and Iraq, one still serving) and two BIL's that served in Viet Nam,one who served 4 combat tours. They believed in it then and if they had to do it again, they'd be on the first troop carrier out. Gotta love that American patriotism.
