No icebergs? My dads harbour is plugged with them right now. Lots of ice for my rye when I get there! Can't wait. 35 more days!

Ha ha! They do make great ice! No icebergs in Trinity Bay as a general rule - at least not in deep where I am. Everynow and then wind, currents bring one in, but none this time. Have fun back home... I'm ready to go again!

Beautiful fish and scenery! I long to make it out there one day. My dad is heading over for a visit Aug/ Sept and I'm looking forward to seeing his photos and hearing all about it.

Yeah I've been told by people who used to live on the rock, pretty much every creek, and I guess lake?, is stuffed with specs... And many locals are into cod and ocean fish they don't even care that much for them, must be nice. They aren't quite the size of Labrador specs, but some of those look a pretty good size... And nice eaters too, wtg.
