Constance Bay and Dunrobin area boat launches.
Hey all,
I am moving just outside of Kanata and am looking for places to launch my boat. The only launch I found so far was $20 a day, and that won't be happening! Too rich for my blood!
Also, I fish the upper Ottawa river now mainly for walleye and pike, should I expect the same depths and locations? I am not looking for secret spots, just looking for their habits so I can find my own spots!
Thanks!!

The launch off Ritchie Ave. in Buckham's Bay is pretty good, has the pier running along side the launch. A little tight but pretty good, and there is parking across Bayview.

Has too much time on their hands
Ahh, posted to NDHQ. At the end of Connaught Range rd is a public launch, also in Almonte is a public launch. Just google the Ottawa River and zoom in the river for the area. I have not checked the Arnprior launch, but plan to this Aug. Never fished the Ottawa, but my BIL and FIL fished the mouth of the Mississippi and did well for Pike/Bass and one Musky last fall. I want to duck hunt the marsh down from there this fall. I drive to a location and camp overnight/weekend in truck camper with boat and trailer. Lineman 052, Sigs

No Line, I am still at the same place I was before when we talked. I forgot about the Connaught launch, I'll have to see if I can launch there. I have heard some great things about the mouth of the Mississippi and I will be Checking it out in the fall! Pro pat

Don't forget that the Rideau River around Kemtpville is a great spot (even Musky) and only a few minutes from Kanata. Free launch in Kemptville.
