Bon Echo PP
I'm going to Bon Echo this weekend, won't be devoting serious time to fishing (rest of the group isn't super into it) but will want to try a bit. I'll have a canoe and a packraft so I can get into interior lakes like Joeperry, Bon Echo Lake, even hike to Essens, but no motor, so couldn't cover much ground on Mazinaw. Also curious about shore fishing the creek by the campground. Any tips? Not too picky about species, just want to know what to look for (and where, if folks don't mind sharing a hint or two).
Thanks!

Joe Perry has some pike in it. Hit the weedy bays. An easy walk in on a wide gravel trail.

Good small mouth and the odd walleye near the narrows. Just paddle with a bottom bouncer and worm harness. The lakers will be deep but if you get one they are very black
That rug really tied the room together
