Haven't been in years but I heard the Bass were good last summer, couple of little ones caught lots of sun fish
This websites also pretty cool if you're ever headed anywhere you've never been and don't have local buddies;

I use to fish it a lot years back. I hit it once or twice a year for a tournament or fun. The size of the bass have dropped for some reason. I remember the average size being bigger. A few years back in a tournament a buddy and I found a school of smallmouth that had nothing bigger then 2 pounders. We rolled the dice and waited out for the bigger ones, they never showed. 50 fishing all 2 pounds and smaller. I remember lots of boats finding the same thing. I think first place was 13 or 14 pounds, nothing to write home about.

I was there last summer camping at the provincial park, I mainly used trick worms to skip under docks and to fish weedy bays, we caught quite a few but nothing over 2 pounds, target rocky shoals, docks and weedy bays, worked for me, good luck

Fishing has been slow when I have been out this season. We have caught and released a few small pike, some out of season bass and some nice crappie. We have not had any luck with the walleye but hope that changes this weekend! As for presentation, worm harnesses, minnows, spinners, spoons and divers have all worked well during my 30 years fishing this lake.

I went out a couple weeks ago on bass opener and just fished a stretch of docks near the provincial park, I was using a finesse worm on a drop shot and caught one 3 to 3.5 pounder and a one pounder in a couple hours and also had a 5 pound largie follow my bait in, good luck

That was my plan of attack as well, leave for the park tomorrow, staying for a few days. Thanks for the info JoshEfishing.
