Pokemon endangered Species, special interest or vermin. :)
So thinking about all these people chasing Pokemon they must be breaking the law. To the best of my knowledge I cannot find a open season for them and I suspect they would be considered an endangered or species of interest. As well by chasing them down and cornering them people are harassing them which is also against the law. Now one friend of mine suggested they might be considered vermin but I don't think that gets around the endangered species act.
Nope I don't play video games.

Since they are non native species I would classify them as invasive so go get them.

If you look at the defination of hunting players of the game are in fact hunting, baiting and trapping. So if you look at the facts, they would need to have at lead an H2 outdoor card ( no firearms are being used..at least not "YET".), there is also no night hunting except for Raccoons, there is open season and Pokémon are not listed as unprotected in the F&W Act.
So I would say there are some real charges that could be layed for hunting virtual Pokémon.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Just wait until you hear of people walking off cliffs, to death will become a little too real.

Also capturing small creatures and keeping them in a small contained phone as well only to release them to fight.

There has already been some reports of accidents and a pedestrian wandering onto a highway.
