    [COLOR=#000000]Hey folks,

    a couple pics from recent summers paddle.

    highlights for sure were northern lights on two occasions,pickerel,specs and some
    pictographs. was cool also to have gotten into a new spec lake

    on my way home i was hopin to get some berries but
    it was not to be, so i thought id wet a line and try for some
    specs. havent fished softwater specs in years.
    normally i use those Gibbs 2 oz slip weights but didnt have
    any on hand. was tough goin without weights or Dipseys. 1/4 oz silver and blue cleos and silver and black J-11
    were the ticket. have to say fishing specs with that crystal clear aquamarine water is
    absolutely exhilarating! ive included some pics of the one fav lake showing it in
    winter as well. so looking forward to cooler temps, grouse season,ice fishing
    and burning wood

    incredibly forgot tarp attachments on my hot-tent tarp! they are quite handy and look like this
    used some small flat rocks on inside of tarp and tied off the rope. worked well. one of these days iam going to have to get a sil-nylon tarp.
    nice and light with all the rigging attached. those blue behemoths do the job but are heavy, loud and garish lol
