    Default E-Collar Prong Question

Has anyone ever had an e-collar prong fall out/off?

I was attaching a little bell to one of the rings on Titan's collar (we have a bear and deer issue in the plot of land we use that is what the bell is for) and all of a sudden one of the shock prongs just literally fell out/off if the collar! It is a Dogtra Train n Beep and only 3yrs old, and I use it in the spring/summer/fall approx. 3X a week.
Hubby was able to tighten it back on thankfully....but I am worried it may not work the same/be effective as it was before.

    Thoughts?

They just screw in and out. No worries about working after - many people (myself included) change out prongs based on length of dog's coat

Yup happened to me too (lost one while hunting) ... They come loose every now and then so just get in the habit of routinely checking the prongs and tightening them when needed. Will work the same once replaced ... Don't sweat it.

+1, I check mine all the time after having one which had become loose.
