Yes there is no doubt they are very lethal on a turkey but you said it and they are the key words "provided my shot placement is good". They have a small vital area and a big body (full strut exaggerates this even more), margin for error is greater on a turkey. I would never lobby for this to go through as a rule, like I said I think we are already managed enough, just my personal thoughts. Be nice if guys just went for the clean kill or clear miss, that's all.
I love fishing but REALLY it is just a way to pass time until hunting season!!!!

I had to give up using a bow many years ago due to tendonitis, and have used crossbow since then. I'd worry about the performance of guillotine blades in my crossbow - does anyone here use them in crossbows?

You have to run your bolt long if using the larger guillotine blades, the foot loop gets in the way.

I don't know why they are needed, you can get a stopper that goes on the shaft and minimizes the bolt pass through ability, if it stays in the bird that should be better.

Except when it's not a kill shot and the bird flies away with $40 worth of arrow and broadhead stuck in it's side..been there..LOL...
