Just finished watching the first couple episodes. The cinematography is simply amazing, makes me wish i was looking at those panoramics instead of cedar trees when i'm hunting lol

I love how he emphasis that hunting isn't about the kill but the experience and meat.

Just watched the first couple of episodes. As someone who gave up on hunting shows in general a long time ago, I find it refreshing to watch a show that's not all about product placement and large racks.

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll definitely watch more if this one. Hopefully they'll put the first few seasons on as well.

Yes only season 5 and 6 are available.
Its a bummer since these are most of the episodes I bought already. The earlier seasons are also great.

for anyone who doesn't know, the host of the show is an author with several great books and articles, plus has his own podcasts. Steven rinella is in My opinion the best hunting personality out there. I tell folks about him regularly and quote him in conversations with hunter and non hunters alike.

    Watched the show last night.

The Alaskan moose hunt was a great show. They showed that sometimes we shoot an animal & we cant find it. It happens!!The best part is on the last day of the hunt when they finally got an adult bull neither hunter cheered or did the high 5. It was a somber moment & they showed the utmost respect to the animal. Another thing that is great is to see them eating the animals that they kill. The hollywood hunters like Lea & Tiffany should watch & learn...

This show is refreshing to watch & hope it stays around for a long time...

he has many episodes with no kill. Some of them are the best episodes. If there's no game taken, they often follow a story or theme to keep it really interesting.
He also has many episodes where he just cooks.

as I mentioned, this is a show like no other on tv. To me it is the best show out there, hunting or non hunting. I wish it were an hour, and I wish there were way more episodes!

I've seen every episode a few times. I like to watch relevant episodes before the season opens (ie whitetail hunts before whitetail season). I also have four of his books. They are all pretty good too.
