Lemieux island
Went fishing on the Ottawa river saterday....We targeted the islands off Lemieux island.... The fish finder was showing lots of fish at 75ft the current was very strong....We threw every thing at theses mystery fish....Can anyone tell me what kind of fish they are....And how i can catch them? I know this is very little info to go on but any suggestions would be helpful.

You sure they're fish? sometimes in heavy current fish finders mark swirling currents as schools.
i don't know that area to know if they're strong enough to do that. but it's common, when you're at heavy fast water, don't trust a thing they say.

This was heavy fast currents...It was marking individual fish....Could be "phantom fish" new to fish finders so it may be exactly like you say....

it does happen, but also could be fish haha, so there's only one way to find out, and that's get some in the boat... someone with knowledge of the area and what's down there will chime in, hopefully i'm way off the mark, and you just found a honeyhole
