Fed Issue #19 - Federal budget estimated to be $16 billion higher than expected by TD
This year’s deficit could be as high as $34 billion, or $16 billion higher than expected: TD Bank
http://business.financialpost.com/news/economy/td-banks-expects-canada-to-run-larger-deficits-than-trudeau-budgeted
How long before paying the interest on the debt becomes the largest annual expense on the budget I wonder at this rate!!!

Yes it is ridiculous but turdhole campaigned on blowing the budget and I guess most Canadians are ok with that since he won a majority. So get ready to take it up the butt.
I personally don't know one person who voted for this guy but he will destroy Canada. His buddy Soros is pulling his strings.
He's also going to institute carbon taxes. But again he promised to do that too in the campaign so I guess he's just fulfilling his promises! Not like Canadians don't pay enough taxes.
I better stop now.

He won a majority of seats, not a majority vote. BIG difference.

Yes you are correct.
The way the electoral regions are set up it is fraudulent. Whatever Toronto votes the rest of the province has to live with. With the Federal elections it's Montreal Vancouver and Toronto that determine the rest of the nation.

Get used to it. He will rule for at least 2 mandates as the PC party is in shambles. Our time and money would be best used to remove Wynne from Ontario. She's incompetent and dangerous.

Actually, he campaigned on a "modest" deficit of 10b. It wasn't after they were in that people on Bay street strted predicting (more likely getting leaks) that the deficit would be over 20b for 2016, and (If I recall correctly) 70b in new debt by the time their first term was up.
Gee, what a surprise. That is a track record Liberal parties own..........
That said, theres good debt, bad debt and too much debt.
Harper kept Canada in good shape, and the truth is we can afford more debt federally. How much is too much? There are many ratio's used to measure debt, the most important is debt to GDP ( it essentially measures the ability to carry debt). Morneua is a Bay street guy and I seem to recall he was stressing they'd keep debt to GDP under 30%. He however just crunches numbers and has little say how the money is spent. On "good debt" say like infrastructure or creating jobs/economic growth. Who here would deny that both Ontario and Alberta are in need of growth?.....Jobs!!! That does cost money you know.
or bad debt say like pandering to quebec or Union friends. Another past time Liberal parties own.
They say the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior...............
The biggest problem, at least as far as I'm concerned, isn't nessecarily all their spending. Federally, Canada can handle more debt. Its where/how and more importantly, " is this the time"?. Theres a time and place for everything. Both Alberta and Ontario are in the crapper due to economic forces and socialist idealology. And can the people of those two provinces weather it, or might additional taxes, cost burdens federally, over and above the disasters their provinces are, buckle their knees.
Thus far, young JT has proven to be what many of us predicted. A shallow fool, all glitter and little substance, easily swayed by those pulling the strings. It takes a strong personality to be a "leader", and a "leader" he is not.
And just like Ontario it would seem the people of Ontario havent learned their lessons. Not after Bob Rae, not after Don Drummond, and at least currently federallly, the signs are not good. And it will really suck if once again, those on the left are having to eat crow and "told you so" while just ordinary people pay huge prices for their idealology or selfishness.
Because both Ontario and ALberta are in the crapper thanks to people who are on the far left, or who are easily bought, and those who only look at their own situations/self interest and not the "good of the whole".

So, wait. A Liberal can't count and it will cost us more than they claimed it would? I am utterly shocked...........
Seriously, I want to know where certain people in our society learn mathematics or even simply not lose sleep over $10 Billion.

What I find even more ridiculous is the fact Trudough took the largest contingency on the damned planet to the Paris Climate gong show and ranted that Canada was back and would be a world leader re: emissions. Now that lieing a hole is using the same carbon targets he accused Harper of being a cave man for. Yet the dim witted libs couldn't care less as they fawn over the pretty boy. He scammed the civil service into supporting him and now is using the same salary and benefits proposed by Harper in negotiations and they are pizzed at him.

people don't care about good governance. How a person looks is pretty well all that matters and how much free stuff can they get right now. Not that anything is free but this generation is perfectly ok having their kids foot the bill.

I had to go to MI today to pick up my dog from a buddy of mine that I loaned out to him for bear season. Once past London and hitting the 402 I couldn't believe the number of those giant wind turbines that were shut down or turned off. I bet from London to Sarnia I would say that 98% of them weren't operating. What a friggin waste of tax payers money to see them sitting idle... Getting rid of her would be my first choice...
