A Solo Roady North. "The New Fly Fisher."
[COLOR=#1D2129]Some of those who have been reading the online fishing reports over the years might just enjoy this third chapter of "A Solo Roady North." A 2500 kilometer round trip with the boat in tow, I start out to fish and camp alone on huge Lake Nipigon in Northern Ontario... Ten days later, along with company that joined, we found ourselves finishing up shooting an episode or two of "The New Fly Fisher" T.V. show. Highlighted by beautiful speckled trout, enormous pike and vibrant sunsets this report is surely a memorable one. Full story here...

Bunk, your like a ghost,
We arrived on Sat June 11th and left early Sat am following. Never got to see or speak with Bill. Saw Rob briefly on Friday night. He said he had a great week and caught many fish. Funny think, I was thinking of you and was hoping by chance we would meet. Like two ships passing in the dark.
Speckle trout fishing was great. Caught many, though they were finicky at time. You are correct about the temperatures. Most important fact when it comes to Specks.
Oh well, we are booked in again next August 19th I believe. Maybe I'll have encounter with the ghost on Nipigon.
thanks Bunk for the help over the years.

Crazy! Rob let me set up my tent beside his place for a few nights. I got in late the 12th and was gone the morning of the 15th to camp out on the lake for the remainder. Three evenings at the resort and still didn't bump into you... that sucks!
Guess we're both ghosts.
Maybe another year but I know for certain I won't be there next August.
ttyl dood!
