So my wife and I went for our first hunt together, it was a short sit 8-12. During that sit, I used a bleat can and a grunt tube. After one combo of calling we heard 2 sounds, thought was a doe so I waited approximately 15 min and the sound was repeated but was really close. But unfortunately we had to leave after 30 min of waiting, just one thing left to do,check my last trail camera. So after modifying my natural blind and packing up we headed off to the camera.....please pay close attention to the times....

Im guessing the vocals I heard were from him considering the place we were sitting was ten min walk. We found his scrape 4 days ago so we place the camera up with a dripper (tinks 69)

I'm not sure if I over called, wrong call, maybe he snuck behind us or down winded us.....Now I need to nickname him for my #1 hit list. Here's his friend Patches (wife named him that because of the patch under his chin) image.jpg
