75 & Coyotes.....
Well, get to the camp on Sunday all pumped for Monday opener. Seeing the cams with nice sized bucks moving during the day got us extra ready to go.
Sunday night what seemed like a huge pack of coyotes came through howling and yipping all night and even left us a steaming present in the middle of a trail..... Not one deer seen in 4 days.
Just wondering if coyotes will push deer out of an area and if so, do they typically come back as the pack moves on or is this season bust?
Didn't hear many shots either so curious how other 75'ers did last week.

Has too much time on their hands
Yes they will run deer out of a bush - seen it more than once. Do yourself a favour and level a few if those yotes as you see them.
Hang tight deer will be back!

Coyotes have a place in nature as long as they are not where I am hunting...

With the amount of yotes in our area there is no place a deer can run to that has no yotes. We push yotes and its common to have deer and yotes in same bush. I have never stopped hunting deer in a bush because there may be a family of yotes in it.
Experience is what you gain when you didn't get what you wanted.
Many are called but only a few are chosen.
