Replacement Hunter Safety Certificate
Looking to see if you can get a replacement hunter safety certificate. Anyone try?
Planning for a hunt to the south and most states require proof that you have completed a hunter safety class. Took HS like 23 years ago have no idea if I even kept any paperwork.
Anyone that has went state side and can say what they gave for paperwork would be great. Maybe last years hunting lic would work?
Would be neat to have it in the hunting room on the wall to.
Thanks

I hunted in New York. All I needed to prove hunter training was my Ontario hunting licence. BC was the same.

Ontario hunting licence can't be had without the hunter training course, seems you have proof of taking the course, in your wallet.

There were absolutely no hunter training courses back in the 50's or earlier, it didn't start till 1960.

Yup dad is one of them grandfathered hunters that in the beginning all you had to do was drop your cash on the counter and pick up your license. If it wasn't for the turkey course he would of had no formal safety training.

Every place I have been is the same.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Has too much time on their hands
Exactly. My brother Dave, did this back in 2009..he took the HEC back in 1978...they found his records and he did not have to take the courses again.
