The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) reminds everyone to help reduce the risk with the annual wildfire season now underway.
Doubt there will be too many fires yet considering there’s still 2+ feet of snow in the bush.
Maybe,around your area,but,down here,I went for a short scout tour through part of the south end of The Ganaraska Forest. There's a few patches of woods with snow (less then 2") in it,but,areas where there isn't any left are already tinder dry. That's not good for fire danger. One spark and POOF.Quote:
