Wildfire season underway
https://oodmag.com/wildfire-season-underway/
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) reminds everyone to help reduce the risk with the annual wildfire season now underway.
What can I but enumerate old themes,
First that sea-rider Oisin led by the nose
Through three enchanted islands, allegorical dreams,
Vain gaiety, vain battle, vain repose,
Themes of the embittered heart, or so it seems.
-- "The Circus Animals’ Desertion" by William Butler Yeats

Doubt there will be too many fires yet considering there’s still 2+ feet of snow in the bush.
They say the only good wolf is a dead wolf, If that’s the case than I’ve reformed many a wolf.

Maybe, around your area, but, down here,I went for a short scout tour through part of the south end of The Ganaraska Forest. There's a few patches of woods with snow (less then 2") in it,but, areas where there isn't any left are already tinder dry. That's not good for fire danger. One spark and POOF.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
