The Royal Family - Welfare at its Greatest

What bugs me how stupid the people in the U. K. ' are - supporting this so called royal family with millions of tax payer's money each year - the whole family is nothing but a bunch of free loaders - I think its about time that the whole family is kicked out of the palace and made to get a job - in this day and age having a royal family is a joke - they are no better than anyone else - look at the men in the family they all look like a bunch of wimps - how can you point your finger at some poor guy getting a welfare check when you see this crap going on - oh and now this guy Harry is going to get married and you see all the press this is getting - isn't there any common sense left in this world - amen

Not sure how all of it came to be but you are right, no-one and I mean no-one is more special than me, you or the other person. Being made in Gods image makes me, you and everyone unique. When man steps in and tells us who is more special, it should insult us all.
My life story/your life story/my neighbours life story is just as important or even more important than theirs...

As unpalatable as it may seem for an already immensely wealthy family to be subsidized by the British taxpayers (at a rate of approximately $1 CDN per citizen per year), keeping the subsidy going simply makes good business sense for the nation. In terms of direct tourism dollars, the Royals bring in approximately 30 times what it costs to subsidize them. A 30X return on investment is hard to ignore.

What is the matter with you guys - someone says something or states an opinion on some matter in a form that you don't like - it is trolling - what are you afraid of - can't discuss something that is in the news - some of you guys sound like a bunch of wimps - if it wasn't so far I'd come up a kick some butts

Britain has had a Monarchy since the 11th century (if not before). Up until the end of WW2,The British Commonwealth was the greatest trading block on Earth and still wields considerable weight. At the center of it all is The British Crown and Canada is still part of it,so,it's won't be going away any time soon. You damn colonials need to learn some respect for tradition. Oh,BTW,Queen Elizabeth II is richer than Oprah and Trump combined.
