What bugs me how stupid the people in the U. K. ' are - supporting this so called royal family with millions of tax payer's money each year - the whole family is nothing but a bunch of free loaders - I think its about time that the whole family is kicked out of the palace and made to get a job - in this day and age having a royal family is a joke - they are no better than anyone else - look at the men in the family they all look like a bunch of wimps - how can you point your finger at some poor guy getting a welfare check when you see this crap going on - oh and now this guy Harry is going to get married and you see all the press this is getting - isn't there any common sense left in this world - amen

In terms of direct tourism dollars, the Royals bring in approximately 30 times what it costs to subsidize them. A 30X return on investment is hard to ignore.

Britain has had a Monarchy since the 11th century (if not before). Up until the end of WW2,The British Commonwealth was the greatest trading block on Earth and still wields considerable weight. At the center of it all is The British Crown and Canada is still part of it,so,it's won't be going away any time soon. You damn colonials need to learn some respect for tradition. Oh,BTW,Queen Elizabeth II is richer than Oprah and Trump combined.
