Gun related deaths.

Your one of the lucky ones as of Oct 1, there have been 15000 delayed in Eastern Ontario everything from heart surgery to cancer treatments.

As I said I would like to see the stats on this if there were more deaths across Canada due to delayed surgeries vs Covid.

Most surgeries are not continuing just because you got yours now doesn't mean everything is fine for everyone else.
Couldn't find the number but I think I saw someplace that 100,000 in Ontario

You live in Toronto, the center of Canada, don't think that your situation is anything like anyone outside of the GTA, period.

If you think Covid is taking up hospital time and the health care system, imagine what the opoid epidemic is costing us.

F ...No, I do not live in Toronto. GTA but not the city. Oh and while I was there for my xray this week, I was also given a cortisone shot in my right knee. I was having more pain in it than my new hip. Seems much better after having it. I knew my knee was shot already , but they will only let you do one or the other at a time, I chose the hip first.

Sorry, the GTA, that stands for "Greater Toronto Area" or "Toronto" to the rest of Canada. You have the best access to healthcare of any citizen. Try living up around Hearst, or Thompson, maybe Whitney, Denbigh, Bancroft, etc, etc, etc.

Agreed , but most of us who live in the smaller cities around Toronto take exception to people not from the GTA saying we are Torontonians. Were are not. We have the best health care because we put the most tax dollars into the system and voter numbers do count.

Huh?? Healthcare is funded by income tax, and you said yourself you do not live in GTA so why would you say, "WE have the best healthcare because WE put the most tax dollars into the system". GTA has the best healthcare in Ontario because of the population it needs to support - it has nothing to do with the tax base it generates. If that was based on tax dollars (like in the US) TO would have the best schools in Ontario and we all know that is NOT the case now isn't it - they are not even close.

I wonder why people are leaving GTA in droves and unfortunately heading to my neck of the woods.

I said 'we', because Fox referred to the GTA, and my abode is part of that.
