That looks like something I would purchase when I am playing Counter Strike or Call of Duty on the PC. IMO that is a weapon for the military and not the sport of hunting....but that is (and I stress) just my opinion. But if it is legal to use than there is no problem with using it....I just question why something so powerful and "military-style" needs to be used in place of a your traditional firearm? :party:
It's not all that powerful, it's parent case is the .223 ... it's military style well... can't argue that one lol.

No one has even really hit on the safety aspect of "spraying" ten high power rifle rounds at a running coyote what with ricochets, misses and pass throughs who knows where all those projectiles are going and guess what, you are responsible for each of them unitl they come to rest (hopefully not in a animate target other than the coyote). If you try to tell me that with that kind of barrage in the bush at running game (coyotes) that you know where all your rounds end up, sorry but I think you are mistaken .223 has to carry for a couple miles at least

There is no difference between shooting a coyote twice with a .223 or blasting them with a $9,999 gold embossed, game scene engraved fancy grain Turkish walnut-stocked shotgun. One or the other doesn't make one better or lesser, or more humane for that matter.

Hunting with a 4000$ gun is only for prissy people that want to feel good about themselves and like to show others they have money, they are not real hunters but just rich pricks. <---- That statement makes just as much sense as some of the posts in this thread. My comments are in direct response to comments made by the original author. But I have heard the same stuff from countless others about the necessity of having the quick follow up shot. Maybe it was the way I was raised in the woods but I don't understand why you need to have a quick second shot if your first shot made its mark. I don't want anyone to think I don't like repeaters or that nobody should have 5 shots in thier guns when they are hunting because that is not the case. But the comments about quick second shots and ten rounds have caught my attention. I'm sure my ethics don't sit well with some on this site, but I'm not going to be made to feel guilty about being a good shooter who can get it done with a single round.
Nobody can deny the TAVOR is on odd looking gun compared to the status quo, and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us would fall over laughing if we saw somone with it in the field. So Mr. Spot & Stalk, have at 'er. Go be all you can be with your special tool, I'll take my buddy boyn' troll back to my Disneyland rainbow gumdrop world where hunters shoot straight and give thier quarry the respect they deserve.
BTW the Winchester CXP 1 55gr .223 rounds I put through my Remington 700P were shooting .75 to .50 MOA. that is cheap factory ammo that was shooting better than your handloads, just saying, if you want to save the time and money. My handload for the same gun was .25 MOA. 1 shot baby, no follow ups required.

you can field anything that is legal BUT there is a reason for a magazine limit. A modern rifle that shoots well should be welcomed --looks are not everything but becareful of the impression you leave with others. I have had to duck more than once because someone with a large capacity magazine starts blazing away at a running deer. One of these days I may shoot back. Fewer rounds means more careful shot placement.
Wow... This thread is full of fail. Now I know where to come to if I am ever looking for a group of crusty old Fudds who are also ignorant of the laws. Just remember one thing, the antis want ALL the guns, not just the AR's, Tavor's, and other 'black guns' and pistols. They also want your wood stock blue steel deer rifles and duck guns. Your bolt action 30-06 with a scope is nothing more than a long distance sniper rifle to them.
Another very good point to remember.
