Hunted WMU 87 this morning.
Flushed 3 got 1.
Without a dog this year so even bagging one was rewarding enough - gave myself a belly rub and walked back to the car.
Lots of old scatt/chalk, only a few fresh signs.

5 wc flushed this am @ Hullett, 2 in the bag. Only scattered birds still.
11 flushes in Simcoe County this morning.

Oct. 10th - in the Kawartha's my lab flushed 8 in about 2 hours of hunting. There was a full moon the night before. Will try again tomorrow.
