Head mounted camera

If you want a scope cam so that you record the shot you can buy scope cam mounts and use a digital camera or there's probably cameras made specially for that. A youtuber I like uses scope cams for his air rifle stuff so I don't know how it would hold up with a shotgun, for example. The channel is "Teds HoldOver" if you want to see what I'm talking about

Its sits above your forehead, i wear over top of my ball cap and then just angle it down a bit, so it wouldn't get in the way of your scope.
It has its pros and cons...its good for close range stuff and is easy to use. its also 100% waterproof which is cool since i use it for fishing too.
The biggest con is there is no zoom, close range only.
If you want something pretty much hands free and for close range, then yes i would say its worth buying.

I did this setup a couple of years ago. It does work and can work really well as you can see from the video but after taking it out in the field a few times and forgetting to turn it on during an actual coyote kill.... I didn't bother taking it any more but this thread is getting me excited about trying it again..

Take a look at the Mobius (best price is on Ebay). Really popular little camera and there are all kinds of mounting options out there too.

I have a go pro and I really like it. The biggest pain is making sure it is pointing where you want it and the battery doesn't die. I have some good videos out of a layout blind on geese and I recently edited a 45 minute video of myself catching an 850lb blue fin tuna this Sept in PEI. I tried to post it but it says its too big.
